Our concept is to involve homeless people to generate a sustainable solution to their problem. Our plan is to obtain run down or dilapidated property  with the assistance of councils utilising the Empty Housing Initiative. We will then convert the properties into individual studio apartments.

 From our list of potential participants, we will select those who we feel will benefit most and sign contracts with them to take part in the restoration  project. The contract would guarantee that if they fully participated in the regeneration of the project they would receive full tenancy rights comparable to  council tenants. The successful participants would be temporarily housed in budget accommodation e.g. B & B local to the project. They will then  complete the project under the supervision of qualified trainers and councillors. They will also undergo training courses in suitable trades. Once the   conversion is completed those participants will then become paying tenants of their own accommodation.

We anticipate at this stage they will have acquired suitable qualification and skills to enable them to apply for employment in the open market. At this point the value of the whole property will be enhanced and will qualify for raising further finance which will be used to seed fund the next projects ad infinitum. Furthermore, the company will also undertake other projects in the open market, providing ongoing employment for participants and generating profits for future projects. By providing training, employment and long term tenancies we believe this will foster loyal tenants who will take pride in their accommodation. The plan will also grow self esteem enabling participants to develop their own future aspirations.
