Elderly Community Centres

One of our long term project aims is to obtain disused, run down or dilapidated commercial buildings for conversion to community centres, Residential and Nursing Homes. Whilst they can be used for numerous purposes, the main effort will be to make them warm and comfortable welcoming centres for the elderly.

Supervised by professional volunteers they will provide a wide range of activities and functions to engage the elderly. All designed to stimulate body and mind. This could include basic computer training, various crafts and hobbies and quizzes.

We will enable a wide range of cosmetic assistance such as hairdressing nails makeup and chiropody, again supervised by professionals. Provision will be made for transport services to not only assist elderly attendance, but to provide organised trips and daily assistance for shopping and other chores.
